Persimmons - Vests, Jackets, and Pullovers

Persimmons of Northern California is rooted in the love of age-old traditional crafts and joy of creating with nature's palettes. In a rural high school, Holly Sweet taught her student Jill McClure the traditional art of spinning. They used silky hair of angora rabbits and fleece from a neighbor's sheep and gathered plants to create unique, natural dyes. They have explored many mediums in the textile arts; blending fibers for soft original yarns, weaving, knitting, crocheting and hand painting silk.
