Sillice

Sillice creates contemporary recycled glass objects. Deep colors, eclectic bubbles, rare textures and an uncommon palette define these pieces. They come from hand made colors for glass, made using techniques from the European glass masters of the XV century, and a special understanding of chemistry. This knowledge is almost lost, and only a few artists kept this tradition. With this infinite palette of hand made colors and textures -such as bubbles and crackling- all pieces are made using recycled glass only, since glass does not lose its quality when reprocessed. Through this process we are able to transform sheets of glass that would have otherwise gone to landfills, into unique and environmentally friendly jewelry, sushi and dining sets, candle ware, soap dishes, games and home decor pieces.
