Wild Boar Creek takes its name from Prek Chrook, a rural village in southeastern Cambodia (Prey Veng province) dear to the heart of the company's founder, Ira Dassa, who lived and worked in Cambodia for several years. Ira founded Wild Boar Creek after returning to the U.S. in 1999. Day-to-day running of the company is now handled by Ira's wife, Serey. We are a fair-trade importer and wholesaler of fine Cambodian handicrafts. Our product lines include: Handwoven silk textiles (shawls, scarves, and table runners); Silk bags and pouches; & A variety of handwoven reed products and more.
