Our mission is to educate consumers about the importance of purchasing fairly traded products that support living wages and safe and healthy working conditions for artisans in the Third World. The Movement tries to link low-income artisans and workers with large consumer markets and leave out middle wholesalers from adding extra costs. We avoid dealing with sweatshop type factories, child, indentured or prison labor work. Our main suppler is Ten Thousand Villages, a nonprofit project of the Mennonite Central Committee (MCC).
